What is drop shipping, and how does it work with HSSP?

Drop shipping lets you sell products without needing to hold stock or handle fulfilment. Here’s how it works:

  • We produce and store your branded merchandise
  • When someone places an order (e.g. from your website), we pick, pack, and ship it directly to the customer
  • Orders go out under your brand, with no mention of High Street Stitch & Print unless you want it

It’s a hands-off, scalable solution—great for creators, clubs, businesses, and events.

What items can I drop ship through HSSP?

You can drop ship a wide range of products, including:

  • Apparel (tees, hoodies, hi-vis gear, uniforms)
  • Tote bags, hats, caps
  • Drink bottles, mugs
  • Printed giftware or promotional products

If you’re not sure your item is suitable, just ask—we’ll help you assess what works.

What does it cost to use HSSP’s drop shipping service?

It depends on:

  • Your order volume
  • Whether you need us to hold stock
  • Packaging or branding requirements
  • Webstore integration

We’ll provide a tailored quote once we understand your setup.

Can you set up and host an online store for my brand?

Yes—we can build and host a custom webstore through our platform. Customers order directly, and we take care of the rest (production, stock management, packing, and dispatch).

Who handles customer service, returns, and shipping issues?

We handle:

  • Fulfilment
  • Courier issues
  • Lost/damaged parcels

You handle:

  • Product-related queries (e.g. sizing)
  • Customer questions about your brand
  • Order changes initiated by your customers

Can I use my own branded packaging or inserts?

Absolutely. You can:

  • Supply branded packaging or flyers for us to include
  • Work with us to create custom inserts or swing tags

This is a great way to strengthen your brand’s unboxing experience.

Can you hold stock for me and ship as orders come in?

Yes. We can hold pre-purchased stock and dispatch it as needed. You’re only invoiced when we ship an item, and we can provide:

  • Stock level reporting
  • Order tracking
  • Forecasting help

Do I have to commit to a minimum order volume to use drop shipping?

There’s no hard minimum—but drop shipping works best when there’s consistent sales volume. Low volume = higher per-unit costs, so we’ll help you assess the right model for your brand.

What is the typical turnaround time for drop shipped orders?

It depends on the setup:

  • In-stock items: 2–4 working days from order
  • Print-on-demand (POD): Usually batched to specific days (e.g. monthly), with lead times confirmed in advance
  • Peak periods: May affect dispatch timing

We’ll always give you a timeline based on your product mix.

Can I see how the process works before committing?

Yes—we can show you examples of existing stores or walk you through a demo site. It's a great way to visualise the experience before going live.

Will customers see High Street Stitch & Print on the packaging?

Not unless you want them to. We offer white-label fulfilment, which means:

  • No HSSP branding on the package
  • Invoices or packing slips can show your brand only

It’s your product, your brand, your way.

How are shipping fees calculated for customer orders?

You can choose:

  • Flat rate shipping
  • Pass-through courier costs
  • Free shipping threshold
  • Custom logic for your webstore setup

We’ll help you work out the best option for your product type and customer base.

What countries do you ship to?
